ARTIST ROSTER:

Thunder Road Band
Pat Horgan, Michael "Mac" McNenney, Silvio Ennella, Tommy Bia, John Burke, Pete Dama

With all of its members born and raised in the Bronx, this is a bunch of guys that know what rock-n-roll means and how to play it.

Thunder Road's songs have been featured on the syndicated "Ed Tyll Show" on the Sirius Satellite Network, and "Wading River" has been used by the Wading River, Long Island Chamber of Commerce.

Pat Horgan (Guitar/Vocals) and Michael "Mac" McNenney (Bass/Vocals) met on July 3, 1971 (the night Jim Morrison left this mortal coil). Horgan and McNenney formed their first band together later that year.

They spotted Silvio Ennella (Drums, Percussion, Vocals) in a rival band in 1973. Silvio left that band to join them. They played everywhere and anywhere they could including a regular spot at the legendary Rising Sun in Yonkers, NY along side such bands as Twisted Sister and Rat Race Choir.

Horgan spent three years at Sire Records, first as a "flunky," then inheriting the A & R department when the department head went "walkabout." He produced the now legendary Peter Tork/Sire Sessions demos for Peter Tork (of "The Monkees") and worked with songwriter/producer Steve Venet.

He also worked with Talking Heads, The Ramones, The Dead Boys, Tuff Darts, Climax Blues Band, and The Pretenders. He now books bands such as The Shadows Of Knight and The Vince Martell Band.

He booked Peter Tork at Max's, Kansas City, The Right Track Inn, and on The Uncle Floyd Show. He booked The Ramones and worked on the demos for "End Of The Century," The Ramones album produced by Phil Spector. He also worked on demos with Glen Burtnik (member of "Styx", songwriter for Patti Smyth/Don Henley).

All the while the Horgan/Ennella/McNenney core of Thunder Road worked the club scene.  In and out of the band since the 70's is Art Director / Musician / Writer / Producer Peter Dama. Peter performs the musical "sweetening," as did his idol Garth Hudson while he was with "The Band."

Rounding out the band is Tommy Bia ( Lead Guitar) , who joined in 2001 and John Burke ( Keyboards and & Vocals) who joined in 2005. John is also a songwriter and Tommy also serves as one of the bands producers along with Pat, Peter and engineer Jon Stern

In recent years Thunder Road has opened shows for Blue Oyster Cult, Marshall Crenshaw, Glen Burtnik, Lou Gramm, Robbie Dupree, Tuff Darts, The Charlie Daniels Band, Peter Tork, Mountain and many others. Their 2002 release "Find Your Way Back" is available everywhere (CD Baby, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Napster, iTunes, etc.)

The band has been quite prolific in the last couple of years releasing a full length CD in early 2009 "13 Bones" on Squeezebox Records and a "Best Of" for Collectables Records (www.oldies.com).  "Don't Go Where The Road Don't Go: The Best Of Pat Horgan & Thunder Road" is a 10 track compilation released August 25, 2009.

They also have tracks on each of the following (all released by Collectables Records):

"Garage Band Halloween Vol 2" (2009)

"Garage Band Showcase Vol 1" (2008)

Pat has also produced CDs for NAZZ, The Shadows Of Knight & John Wicks & The Records.
